Mini Monets

Welcome back for the 7^th Year of Mini Monets!

I hope everyone has had an amazing summer with lots of time enjoying the beach, pool, parks, and air conditioning! I will be returning to many of the locations I taught Mini Monets at last year with as few changes as possible. I am very excited to join with the Wilmington Conservatory of Fine Arts this year! We start the beginning of each year with the Drawing Lines and Shapes Session. Projects will emphasize use of various types of lines – length, weight, and curves – and how using lines together make geometric and free form shapes. Artists will find inspiration in reality and their imagination. Creations will be a blend of art, literature, math, and science. Classes at most locations will start the week of September 12 and the current schedule is:

 

Mondays:

Children’s Learning Center 9:30 – 10 am

The Learning Tree 10:30 – 11 am

Smart Start 11:20 – 12 pm *subject to change

Wilmington Conservatory of Fine Arts 3:30 – 4:10 pm

Kings Grant 4:45 – 5:30 pm

 

Tuesdays:

Alcami 9:30 – 10 am

Children’s Learning Center of NHHN 10:30 – 11 am

Smart Start 11:20 – 12 pm *subject to change

Cape Fear Academy 2:45 – 3:30 pm (starts 9/6)

Noah’s Ark 3:45 – 4:15 pm

 

Wednesdays:

Children’s Cottage of Wilmington 9:30 – 10 am

Gateway Academy 10:30 – 11

Jenkins Preschool Academy 12:15 – 12:45 pm

Islands Montessori 3 – 3:50 pm (starts 9/26)

Carolina Beach Recreation Center 4:20 – 5:00 pm

 

Thursdays:

St. Marks Catholic School 3:30 – 4:10

Kings Grant 4:45 – 5:30

 

Fridays:

Wilmington Conservatory of Fine Arts 9:30 – 10:10 am, 10:20 – 11 am

Smart Start 11:20 – 12 pm *subject to change
