  6. I am interested in the summer camp at Surf City. I see that the cost is $60. Is this for 1 week? I am also interested in possibly doing a camp at the clubhouse in our neighborhood, if you can provide what the cost for that would be and how many children you would need to participate.
    thanks!

  7. Are the three sessions of Summer Camp in Surf City identical in content? or is each session learning something new?

    • Hi Deed,

Each session/month will be a different set of projects and we will learn about different artists. Nothing will be repeated and children can attend each session.

      Thanks!

      Jennie

      • Thank you!
How do we register for the classes?
Also, I am trying to decide between the July and August classes, Can you tell me more about those specific classes and their content?

I will email you the registration form. Each month, I will have a different set of projects for the kids to create. Some will be teacher guided and some are self directed. I introduce different artists but I do not have specific themes for the months. For the younger classes, we will have projects in watercolors, mixed media, tempera, and clay. The older classes focus on how art will translate into careers in an art field. We will look at successful graphic design elements, effective character design, layout and animation.

      • Please do email me a registration form for the August class at Surf City. Thanks!

  8. How do I sign my child up and what is the cost? I have a 14 year old and am interested in the June sessions at the Community Arts Building. Thank you.

  12. Hello, I am confused by the dates for summer camp. Is it only for an hour? Do you have a day or half day program?
    Thanks,
    Heather Brosnan

    • Hello Heather,

Yes, the camps are an hr long this year. My school year classes run 30 – 45 minutes so I’m trying something new with having art projects that last an hour. Depending how this year goes, next year I may offer 1.5 – 2 hr classes daily. Please email me if you are interested in signing up for Cape Fear Academy, Carolina Beach, or Ogden. Thanks for your interest in Mini Monets Summer Camp.

  13. I am interested in your summer camp classes for my very creative 8 1/2 yr old. Can you please tell me prices of your illustration and sculpting camps? Thanks!

    Melody Toler

    • Hello Melody! I’d love to talk more with you about my camps. I’ve updated the Summer Camp page and you can email me at minimonets@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you!!
