Mini Monets

At the end of November / beginning of December I have my artists create a self portrait. We draw each part of our face while discussing the 5 senses and then we traced over our drawings with black paint. Each year is a different artist and this year is the Master of Color, Henri Matisse. After looking at portraits of his wife Amelie, Woman with a Hat and The Green Stripe, we began to add the colors that we felt into our drawings. Enjoy!!
