Mini Monets

For this project, The students observed the designs and patterns on butterfly wings before painting or drawing their first initial. To complete our mixed media piece, we drew inspiration from Demuth’s I Saw the Figure 5 in Gold and the detail in Roman Mosaics to create the metallic collage of their initials.
